Is there a way to be able to wrap text around tiny slideshow?

Hi, I've successfully added tinyslideshow to a webpage but would like to be able to put text on either side of it, as it doesn't fill the whole screen. I've used the style = float: left/right and can movie it to one side or another but still can not get text added in. I'm sure I'm just missing something very obvious but I'd really appreciate some help..
