Applying transparency to the letterbox in TinySlideshow?

Hi,

TinySlideshow is absolutely fantastic, but I have one question:

I've figured out how to change the letterbox background colour in the compressed.js file, but don't know enough JavaScript to change the opacity of the letterbox ... How would I do this?
